Trend: Navajo

(All photos belongs to the owner.)

1. I don't know about you guys, but right now I'm loving the new trend, Navajo. It's really eye-catching and vintage-y, which I really like for my clothing. It's really unique, for once, and not repetitive. Well, okay it is repetitive but it's been like ages since this style has gone out to the public.

2. I like how versatile this trend can be.  You can wear this with a formal dress, just put on some accessories and you'll be fine. Also, you can opt for beach-y, bohemian, and even a girl-next-door look. Oh, I can't stress how much I love this trend.

3. If you can get a hold of this trend, I recommend go for it! Anyone, anywhere can wear this. :)

If you haven't heard the good news, PinkieRiceGurl is having a contest for being on youtube for a year! (*woot *woot!)

Hi guys finally I'm done filming my One Year Anniversary being on YouTube Giveaway. Actually I was planning to film this video last month because my anniversary date on YouTube was March 26 but since there was an emergency happening during that day (it was actually before 26) we flew to Manila to extend Chris's visa so I wasn't able to do it. When we came back from Manila I was hospitalized and after I got out from the Hospital I was tasked to do a sponsored video. Even though I was busy at that time I never forgot to think that I need to do a giveaway to celebrate my one year anniversary on YouTube and to thank the people who supported my channel for over a year.I did what I promised myself. I know this is not a big giveaway but I'm still happy with the prizes I bought for you. Sad to say only one will have a chance to win these prizes, I don't have enough budget for shipping so I can't do 2nd prize and third prize. Anyway there will be more giveaways in the future so don't be sad about it.

Summer Heat

(All photos belong to me)

1. Yes! Yes! Yes! Summer is finally here and I am so excited for new stuffs to come. I'm not talking only about Fashion and Makeup but also my life. A lot is going to happen this summer and I ensure you that. Ohhh, I love the beach and the sun. Okay, not really the sun but whatever!

2. This Summer, I'm gonna be busy applying and enrolling for Uni. I'm still 16, but that's how it works in the Philippines. I'm kinda scared and excited. It's gonna be a new field and I hope I can adjust quickly. Actually, tomorrow I'm gonna be meeting somebody for an interview regarding my acceptance to the school. I rally wish I would get in, so I must try my best.

3. Anyway, Summer is the time for no-makeup looks, floral and flow-y clothing! I am ecstatic to wear one and I'm gonna try to take pictures of what I'm wearing when I go out. But, I don't think there would be a lot since half of April I've been at home, in my snuggie. Anyway, more makeup looks and a bit of fashion posts coming up. :)

Clean and Clear BFF 8 Date Winners!

James, Mia, Katrina and Phil
And another one. <3
Here’s us, with James, doing drills. (pretty tiring!)
That’s me, Nikka and Mia. She’s so friendly! :)
Acting like a pro. (Doing the header) Hi Phil!
Hi James! <3
We really just had to let them sign our shirts.
Mia, I love you for sharing this experience with me. <3
1. A few months back, Clean and Clear launched this huge contest for all the BFF’s (Best Friends Forever) out there. My best friend, Mia, knew all about this contest and was hesitant in telling me to join with her. So, one day, she finally asked me about joining the contest about 3 weeks away from the deadline. We took some shots on the weekend and literally spent 8 hours together. (Just as what Clean and Clear says on the mechanics.) Of course, we had to directly upload it on their page and we jumped off our feet when they approved our Scrapbook the next day.
2. The next 2 weeks was the pain-in-the-butt part. We had to ask people, from close ones to unknown ones, to “like” our scrapbook. But the liking was too much of a hassle for them. They had to wait for the application to load and then they don’t know what to do next. We had to answer their questions regarding the “like” but most of them gave up. Then, the server went all glitzy and the “likes” wouldn’t  even go up. And we’re stuck at 45.
3. We were worried for quite sometime but then they announced that the winners would be based on 100% of the judges’ decision.  The announcing of the Top 5 nominees came and we screamed for joy when we saw our photos of hard work was displayed in the collage. And here, we started to expect things. Like, “OMG, If we win, I’m so gonna be…” etc. At first we were kinda worried how would our interview be, (since they were gonna interview us to get to know us better, in case I didn’t mention that.) we wondered if they were going to make us come to Manila (which by the way, 45 minutes by plane, away from my town) or will it be via call. Flying to Manila would be too expensive, of course we settled for a call.
4. During the interview, we just blunted out everything related to their question. The interviewer, Nikka, was NOT like the usual Ms. Im-a-God-cause-i-can-easily-turn-you-down type of interviewer. It was like we were having a talk to someone we just met, so carefree and friendly.
5. The day finally arrived when I got a text from them asking us if we were ready for a call. And there. in that instant, we knew we won! We were ecstatic when we knew about it. We, literally, screamed our lungs out and jumped around.
6. We flew to Manila, Friday night at 8pm, February 18th, and arrived at around 10pm. (Flight was delayed. :/) Perk picked us up at the airport and led us to our hotel. (Mandarin Oriental, Makati) As we entered the room, 2 clean and clear gift packs await us. (Yaaay for free stuffs!) We didn’t really sleep early, we couldn’t wait for the big day tomorrow.
7. The day finally came. (we still couldn’t believe it!) We had breakfast and lunch and then the driver picked us up on our hotel and brought us to Alabang Country Club, where the younghusbands are there, waiting for us. (Geez, can you believe that?) It was like a dream. Them, taking a picture with us, having drills and training us. The best thing is that, THEY KNOW OUR NAMES! :O (Yes, I could die now. lol, jk.)
8. The next day was the actual game. I was on Phil’s team and Mia was on James’s. They invited girls from BRENT, Ateneo and other schools. These girls weren’t just ordinary soccer players, they’re like really good! And for myself, who has not played soccer since 3rd grade, chickened the hell out of me when I was on the field. I did get to kick the ball and pretend Im a pro, but it’s too impossible to hit the goal. Girls here and there attacking you for the ball. (umm, okay! You can have the ball while I stay here watching James and Phil play. It’s better than the ball though.)
9. The experience was over-all great. It was just like what we imagined it to be. Talking to Phil and James is enough, but Clean and Clear gave us more. We met new friends, learned tons of lessons and lived an experience. I now have something to share to my granddaughters soon, when I grow old.
THANK YOU SO MUCH CLEAN AND CLEAR! :)
